Congratulations on your pregnancy!
A newborn photography session is the first portrait you will have taken of your beautiful new bundle. These sessions are essential for capturing those tiny little details of your new baby. Those little things about them that change so quickly you literally only remember them by looking at photos.
The best time to book your newborn session is after your 2o week scan. I use your expected due date to book in the session and use a free flow diary, so if your little one arrives early or late don’t worry, as I will adjust the session date for you.
Your baby is only tiny for such a short time, even after the first week you will notice huge changes. They begin to uncurl, they become more alert and awake and this is why I prefer to photograph your baby between 5 to 14 days new enabling me to achieve those precious newborn images as certain poses that you see here on my site might not be possible after this time, but that isn’t to say that you can’t get beautiful photos of your baby at any age. You shouldn’t miss out just because your baby is older than 2 weeks.
I know as a mummy myself how quickly that time passes, what with recovering from birth and lack of sleep you don’t always take the little things and appreciate them as much as you wish you could.
Once that time has past its gone forever, they will never be “THAT” tiny again. Im here to help you capture and preserve those tiny, curly, details forever.

A photo session with me is personalised to you to create wonderful images and artwork for you to treasure forever. The studio is nice and warm and offers a very calm environment. I have a large range of props and accessories, there is no need for you to provide anything for the session, apart from extra nappies, feeds and their dummy if they have one.
As babies have their own agenda I only ever book one newborn session a day and work at the pace of your baby. Newborn sessions can last up to 3 hours, this allows time for feeding, changing and cuddles and if the session takes a little longer than planned you will NOT incur additional fees. I want my clients to come away from their session with memorable moments and images they will cherish forever.
I will be handling your baby less than two weeks after birth and therefore I insist that safety and comfort is paramount during the shoot. I have received 1:1 training on how to safely pose newborns, and continue to keep my knowledge and training up to date.

A £50 non refundable deposit is required on booking and the remaining session fee must be paid in full 14 days prior to your due date.
